Wells Fargo “Bank Originated Debit”?
I noticed a couple of hundred dollars were withdrawn from my bank account under the description “Bank Originated Debit.” Can someone explain what this means? I would like to understand it better before I contact my bank for clarification. Thank you!

you would have to contact them to find out exactly why. Its a catch all name of a debit the bank uses if there is ever a time when the bank needs to take money out (either because too much was put in at some point, or because you owe the bank money or one reason or another, or because a deposit went into your account when it should have gone into someone else’s.) Just call the 800 customer service number or stop in at your bank and talk to a banker, they can tell you.
