What additional information would you need to prove that δabc ≅ δdef by sas?

What additional information would you need to prove that triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEF using the Side-Angle-Side (SAS) theorem? Triangle ABC is depicted with a single hash mark between points A and B, indicating that side AB is congruent to side DE in triangle DEF, which also has a single hash mark between points D and E. Additionally, angles B and E are marked as congruent. The segments are given as follows: segment AC is congruent to segment EF, segment BC is congruent to segment FE, segment AC is also congruent to segment FE, and segment BC is congruent to segment EF. Please clarify what further information is needed to establish the congruence of these two triangles using the SAS criterion.

The Givens were one side and an angle, therefore you are trying to find another side. One possibility is side AC is congruent to DF, but the angle is not in the middle so it doesn’t work. The only possible answer that can work is BC is congruent to EF

We have drawn the two trainagles as required in the attachment. As we can see the side AB is equal to the side DE. Also we are given that angle B = angle E. So we know one side and one angle are equal. To be congruent, we need another side to be equal this could be either of the two :(i) Segment AC ≅ Segment FD or(ii) Segment BC ≅ Segment EFSince we do not have (i) listed as any option, we select the second oneSo, the answer is Segment BC ≅ Segment EF (Option D)
Bc is congruent to EfStep-by-step explanation:thank yous aqpprecieted
