what are ben wa balls and how do they work?

What are Ben Wa balls, and how do they work? Additionally, I would like to know their benefits and any potential risks associated with their use.

I am assuming you mean in the Pelvic Floor meaning of the usage…

They are a style of metal ball inside a metal ball that, when inserted into the vagina, cause you to have to squeeze your pelvic floor muscles to keep them inside… When you move they vibrate a bit as the internal balls bounce off of the external shell which reminds you they are there and, if you move right, can cause quite pleasant sensations…

Personally, I don’t like your “Standard” style of balls… 2 balls with no means of easy retrieval…

So I got a pair that is more ‘Modern’ and have a cleanable silicone exterior and a silicone retrieval cord… Much more expensive then the normal kind (that you can win at Game Works with enough tickets… But don’t tell the kids…) http://www.stockroom.com/Smartballs-P1805.aspx

I wear these for hours with no problem…

The stronger your pelvic floor muscles are, the better, easier, and more intense the female orgasm is. That is why I got them… It also, in the long term, helps to make sure that when you get old, you won’t have urine incontinence… (You know how old women will pee a bit when they laugh too hard? That is what I mean.)

So you get MANY benefits…

This style of exercise has been in existence for THOUSANDS of years… I, personally, say spend the extra cash and get the SmartBalls… They are easier to use, easier to clean, and easier to store… But that is just my personal opinion.

Ben Wa balls, also known as Burmese bells or Geisha balls are small, marble-sized metal balls, usually hollow and containing a small weight that rolls around—used for sexual stimulation (by insertion into the vagina or anus). Some may also be solid, or contain clappers or chimes within; other larger versions made of plastic encasing lesser balls are called Duotone balls.

They are used by inserting them into the vagina or anus and using muscles to hold them in, and movement to stimulate and vibrate.

I am SO glad you got some REAL answers on this. Very informative. Thanks for asking. The Cat’s human knows what they are but is not familiar enough with them to give such a good answer. The Cat thinks they are some kind of cool new kitty toy, but then, He WOULD! Thanks for asking, get a star!

Jkirsten51 is correct, except they are larger than marbles. I believe they almost as large as ping pong balls, but not quite.
