Melancholy is a great adjective. I would choose disturbed over disturbing. Self possessed, obsessed, one dimensional, macabre, and of course, dead.
Macabre
Bizarre
Dark
Gloomy

Dark, self-destructive, ingenious, creative, futuristic, addicted, self-medicating, depressed, obsessive-compulsive, brilliant
