Is Nitrous Oxide (N20) flammable?

Is nitrous oxide (N2O) flammable? I know it was featured in "The Fast and the Furious," but I would prefer to rely on credible sources rather than movies for accurate information. Could you please provide a link to a reliable source for this topic?

No it is definitely not flammable.

However it will relight a glowing wooden splint (as in the test for oxygen) because the heat of the glowing splint decomposes the N2O into nitrogen an oxygen and the oxygen relights the splint.

Because it readily decomposes it is quite a powerful oxidant and has been used as the oxidant part of fuels.

Nitrous Oxide, more commonly known and used as laughing gas. At room temperature, it is a colorless non-flammable gas, with a pleasant, slightly sweet odor and taste.

It is also used as an oxidizer in rocketry and in motor racing to increase the power output of engines. N2O need not be flammable to be able to do that.

The gas itself is not flammable, but it delivers more oxygen than atmospheric air by breaking down at elevated temperatures
