Is the Babolat Contest Si (blue) tennis racquet good?

I’ve been playing tennis for under a year. I can hit the ball way better than i used to. The current racquets im using are low priced head and prince racquets. These seem to have stopped working for me, perhaps i need to upgrade? anyways, i came across the babolat contest si in stores. its about $149 (au), it looks nice and im thinking of buying it. What’s your user opinion/review on this racquet? do u recommend it to a player like me? any other racquet recommendations? (im not that great at tennis yet but i have been improving, im thinking of spending around $70-$180 for an upgrade to a better racquet)

Tell us a little more about how you play.But babolat racquets have always been very nice in my opinion. The racquet you mention seems to only appear in .au sites (Austrailian) sites… I use a babolat aeropro drive. Make sure to always demo racquets before you buy. No one can tell you a racquet is good except YOU.

https://shorturl.im/axyrAI would suggest the Babolat Pure Drive GT. Don’t get the Plus version though, it is longer and heavier and for a person who is only 5 ft. tall it would be too much to handle. The Standard version its a great racket, it will help you a lot with serve and ground strokes. It has the best combination of power,spin,and control on any racket i know.

DO NOT GET THAT RACKET, IT IS CRAPPY AND OVERPRICED. If you want a Babolat racket then get the Babolat Pure Drive, Aeropro Drive, or Pure Storm. I personally like the Wilson K6.1 95 16X18 myself. Give some rackets a try by demoing some off tenniswarehouse.com.
