Larger crystals (the igneous rocks’) will be formed when molten rock cools more slowly. Explanation:Igneous rock or magmatic rock, is one of the three main rock types. Igneous rock is formed through the cooling and solidification of magma or lava. The texture of an igneous rock depends on how quickly magma or lava cooled to form it.   The rock described by Moore and Hayness and they gave credit for its discovery to T. S. HarrisonWhen magma cools, crystals forms, because the solution is super-saturated in respect to some minerals. If the magma cools quickly, the crystals do not have much time to form, therefore they are very small. Larger crystals will be formed when molten rock cools more slowly. The more slowly molten rock cools within Earth, the larger  the igneous rocks’ mineral crystals will be. For example Near Earth’s Surface, Molten rock that cools near  or at Earth’s surface hardens  quickly. The igneous rocks  have small mineral crystals. Whereas in Deeper Inside Earth, Molten rock that cools  deeper inside Earth hardens  slowly and forming rocks that  have large mineral crystals. When magma cools underground, it cools very slowly, and when lava cools above ground, it cools quickly. The cooling process will help form crystals. Although the cooling process often produces crystalline material, in certain circumstances the liquid can freeze in a non-crystalline form.Further explanationCrystal is a solid whose atoms, molecules or constituent ions are packaged regularly and the pattern repeats in three dimensions. The process of forming a crystalline structure is known as crystallization.Crystal classification:Metal Crystals (Li, Ca, Al, Fe)Ionic Crystals (NaCl, LiF, AgCl, Zn)Covalent Crystal (C (diamond), Si, SiO₂)Molecular Crystals (Ar, Xe, Cl, CO₂)Learn Morecritalization crystal classification DetailsClass: High SchoolSubject: BiologyKeywords: crystal, non-crystal, atom, molecule, ion

The answer is; TRUEWhen the saturated solution is allowed to cool slowly, the molecules in the solution have the time to displace impurities that try to attach to the growing lattice because they fit perfectly, geometrically then the impurities. This way the lattice grows larger. If the solution is cooled fast, the impurities have little time to be displaced from the lattice hence the geometry of the crystal lattice is disturbed and the crystals are smaller and less pure.

The given statement is true. Explanation:The size of the mineral crystals of the igneous rocks relies upon the fact that how speedily the lava or the magma gets cooled. The magma that produces the intrusive igneous rocks remains underneath the Earth's surface. The bigger crystals are produced in intrusive rocks as the high temperatures within the Earth's surface permit magma to cool gradually, and this gradual cooling gives enough time for the formation of bigger mineral crystals. Thus, the more gradual cooling of the molten rocks takes place underneath the Earth's surface, the bigger will be the mineral crystals of the igneous rocks formed.

Yes, the crystals will have more time to form and therefore are more likely to be larger compared to one that is cooled quickly.
