lump on my ear lobe ????

I have had a lump on my earlobe for about 3 to 4 days, and it is very sore. The lump is approximately the size of a pea. Should I squeeze it? What could it be? Is it a pimple or something else? It does not have a white head.

I wouldn’t recommend squeezing it. If it doesn’t go away in the next day or so, you should have a doctor take a look at it. My aunt had one once and it was some kind of infection. do you have that ear pierced? if so you may be allergic to the earring.

It could be an under-skin pimple. The kind that hurts real bad. I get those on my ear lobes sometimes. If it is that kind of pimple, it will go away in a few days without ever having a white head. If it doesn’t go away if a few days, it might be something else, and you might want to check it out.

It is likely a small infection. Leave it. Eventually it will form a whitehead and then you can pop it, or it will reabsorb into your body. If it’s still there in 30 days ask your doc to take a look at it.

you might have a "titty". that’s what it’s called around my way. if you have pierced ears, you may get titties. they can look like pimples, or they can grow into mushroom like forms (quite large and gross). they can be surgically removed, but they are harmless if you leave them be. At any rate, have you dermatologist look at it.

Do not squeeze it. You may cause an infection.

could be a boil – just put some antiseptic cream on it and if it doesn’t clear up, go and see your doctor
