i vacuumed most of up as much as i could its outside the bathroom and we walk on it all the time with wet feet and no discoloration has happened but not sure if same will happen if i try to shampoo the carpets to keep my allergies in check

You are right that there is some risk to getting it thoroughly wet. Vac it periodically, beat it with a broom so the bleach either gets vacuumed up or sifts on through to the backing. I think by the time you shampoo, any resulting bleaching will take place low in the carpet pile where you won’t see it. Good luck

It would be better to pre-treat the stains with a stain remover intended for carpet, and then use a carpet cleaner. Or better still, hire a professsional carpet cleaner to give it a thorough cleaning.

As long that you vacuum everything up and there is no water added for the moment you will be fine , wait a few days before using the shampooer vacuum a few more times before just to make sure that you got every thing removed from the pile .

I would just vacuum it periodically, but would not use any water material just to prevent the carpet from haveing a bleach stain. Good Luck hope this helps.
