Penny vs Nickel Board as a beginner?

I agree with anything and everything with what the person who answered before me said. Only thing I’d like to add is that the Penny 22” will be easier to fit into a backpack. I traded my sector 9 for the penny for that reason… easy transportability. So if you’re planning on going short distances to stores and don’t want to leave the board outside, I’d recommend the the penny over the nickel for that reason. But if all you want to do is skate, the nickel would be fine. I own both boards but I prefer the penny 22″ for sharper turns and mini size. And another thing I’d like to add is that the the penny 22” is a miniature board so if you really have bigfoot feet or aren’t comfortable with standing on such smallness, go for the nickel. The Penny and the Nickel boards are of the same quality and the only difference is the few added inches and the truck size, it’s all personal preference.

And btw, good that you are looking forward to buying the Penny brand cruiser because I own a few cruisers such as bantam, stereo vinyl, and some banana boards. Penny seems to be the best cruiser. Just not as good though for bombing hills, performing tricks, and any of that such. haha :3

Penny Nickel Board

Honestly I prefer the nickel. Its smaller than a regular skateboard yet it feels big when your on it. I put riser pads an reds on my nickel and its like even the slightest breeze sends you zipping. I love it. It’s so fun. I was thinking about the penny at the time but I rode a stereo an its the same size as the penny and it felt really uncomfortable. It was so small and I bet at high speed it gets major speed wobble. But then again I am size 13 shoe so I guess that might’ve been the problem. In the end it’s up to you really. I love the nickel so far. It just got it today. Ups took forever. But it was worth the wait. Do what I did , I youtubed videos of both boards and googled them and even went on some websites. You’ll make the right decision.
