What do you do in Chorus Class?

I will be a freshman this year, and I signed up for Chorus. I am a little nervous. Can anyone tell me what they do in Chorus Class?Thanks!

you’ll sing a lot of classical material and some fun songs if your teacher is cool. Sightreading, oral exams, and written exams as well. You will probably go to all-state which is a lot of fun and maybe sing for different school events, you can sing in small groups or do solos if you want to…However, it’s a lot of fun if chorus interests you, but if u feel like you’ll hate it then change the class cause the chorus nerds can get annoying lol…I was in chorus from 9-12, i loved it and grew to appreciate the art of singing…mainly because i had a kick @ss teacherGood luck!

well im a band guy my self but i know exactly what they do. its simple really just breathing exercises, vocal exercises, basic songs and pitch, its like band really and like choris in middle school. its not hard you just learn to sing verry well and prefom in concerts and contests

you sing songs and for test you sing alone or with someone. at my school it was usually with someone else or in a group.
