What does “oretical” mean?
I came across the term "oretical" in an article, but I haven’t been able to find a definition for it. Can anyone explain what it means or provide some context?

That's not a word that I know of. May have been a misprint in the book. Did it say the oretical by any chance?
The word theoretical is an adjutive meaning based on a theory.
I believe it comes from the base of morals in greek, ēthos. I'm guessing you saw this word in a humanities paper as that is what it would be used for. As for "ore" I think tammeem stated correctly before that it would be base like the term from science. Just combine the two into a slang word from Liberal Arts majors so they can sound smart

I think this word derived from "ore".
It might be used to mean essential or basic.
Scientists always play with words this way.
Is the word 'the' in front of it? It could be a misprint and is supposed to be theoretical.
are you sure it wasn't the word theoretical split from one line to the next?
