What dose ‘Past balance due’ mean?
I have a question about my internet bill. My uncle, who is usually quite frugal, told me that our bill, which is typically $30, has increased to $65 this month because of Wi-Fi charges. He showed me the bill, and it indeed states $65. However, what caught my attention was this: the bill lists a "Past due balance" of $30 and a "Total amount due" of $65. What does this mean? I'm a bit confused and don't fully understand the situation. I'm only 14, or I will be in August, and I’m worried that he might be taking advantage of my lack of knowledge to get more money from me.

It means that whoever pays the bill didn’t do so last month.
So last month, he was supposed to pay $30, but didn’t. So now, this month, you owe both this month and last month (for a total of $60). The extra 5 is probably a penalty charge.
So, yes, he’s cheating you. If you pay for the internet, and you paid him last month for it, then he pocketed the cash, but didn’t pay the actual bill. You are responsible for only this month’s $30- he should be paying the penalty, since he’s the one who didn’t pay last month’s bill.
Good luck! :0)
It means that last month’s bill was not paid and the internet company added a $5 late fee.
So, the total due is for TWO months. If you paid your uncle for last month’s then HE didn’t pay the company.

Okay, so my cheap *** uncle says that our internet bill that’s usually 30 dollars, is 65 dollars this month because I had Wi-fi, he showed me the bill and it says 65, too. But here’s what caught me attention. This is what the bill said.
Past due balance 30.00
Total amount due …
Yes he is because he did not pay the last month bill, just think if something was paid every month will it be “past due” or paid on time. He didn’t pay the balance so he want you to pay it for him anyway Take Care and God Bless

It means last month’s bill of $30.00 was not paid and is now past the due date, “past due”. Plus you owe a $5.00 late fee for that month. Plus this month’s normal $30.00 fee for a grand total of $65.00. TA DA !!
it means that last months bill wasn’t paid. Perhaps the payment arrived after this months bill was generated, or perhaps the bill never got paid….the extra $5. is probably a late charge.
If a massive object, such as a star, is squeezed into a small enough volume, its escape velocity will exceed the speed of light. Since nothing can go faster than light, nothing can escape the black hole. The earth would become a black hole if it were squeezed into a diameter of .7 inches, for example.
