Its yahoo.... they ꜱᴜcκ...its not your computer or your cache or anything but Yahoo reporting back AD statistics and bogusly slowing down yahoo mail in the process-- the same thing happens with "waiting for prod4.rest-notify-msg.yahoo.com" -- its like a REST bar in sheet music - INTENTIONALLY taking time to REST and NOTIFY Yahoo of what you just clicked and what time etc... the REST part is the agravating part perhaps intentionally put in to frustrate and get you to BUY a new version of Yahoo Mail. Even if that is not entirely true Yahoo's ad server which slows everything down isn't being corrected. You will get lots of advice to clear your cache and reset YOUR toolbars and Added stuff and all this garbabe about cleaning YOUR computer -- etc. but its all garbage... Its the Yahoo site that does it particularly when you use Yahoo mail with a Google Chrome browser... Google and Yahoo don't like eachother to begin with so that gives us a clue... but thats only part of the problem... its also just Yahoo foolishness with their lack of focus on USER experience... all their web tracking statistics, and background GARBAGE etc slow things down for the end user whether intentional or not.... the "prod4.rest-notify.msg.yahoo.com" sounds to me like another type of tracking thing going on when you click on something it sends a "notification" in the background... or in the case of "comet" they change an ad or something and then notify advertisers or themselves when you click on what and when and all that garbage that should run seemlessly in the background WITHOUT slowing everything else down and freezing things up... but they are not fixing it to make it smoother....because they are a bunch of Yahooos....
