A berth is how many people it will sleep.Such as 2 berth, 2 people!

It’s all about weights. Check the unladen weight of your car (handbook) and the max loaded weight of the caravan (look for the plate) and work on the caravan being no more than 85% of the car. It may also be worth checking the down weight on the bar – again the figure will be in the cars handbook. Hope that helpfull.
