It’s just a protein shake with lots of fat and sugar in it. You shouldn’t drink it when not working out unless you want to put on weight.
If you cannot drop your excess weight, if it constantly come back these further pounds and you do not know what to do? – don’t desperate simply because is a way to resolve this undesirable problem. let the science and the excellent meals function for you and you will accomplish that waste of pounds that you constantly wanted and want it.
it is a muscle building supplement and it works best when u are done working out and drinkin it with out workin out will hae litle to no affect
Muscle Milk is a protien supplement that is used for muscle recovery and repair. The company CytoSport makes a couple different ones to include a low cal version and the usual. Depending on your workout schedual and the degree to how hard you work out plays in how much protien you will need to maintane your muscle. Many say that 1.3-2 grams per pound of bodyweight is sufficent. The 2 grams I would move more toward the pro bodybuilder area. AS far as drinking it without working out? Shure, why not? if you are keeping a moderat diet of high protien and low carbs, it will actually help you as far as weight controle goes. Start to add carbs however and now you’ll gain weight like never before. I would say to use a protien drink as a meal substitute during the day. You should already know that eating 5-7 times a day is what will keep muscle and weight under controll. Keep the meals small but always feed your body. Make shure they are high protien. Many people forget that when you take in carbs ie” sugars, pasta, breads, soda etc, they are fast burning “bad” carbs, when your body is not in gear to burn these carbs they inturn turn into fat to be stored.Also remember that many supplements have a carb devivery system to carry either protien or more common creatin to your system. As some have said, you can gain weight from these if you are just drining them. IF you are going to be on a minimal activity level, stick to the low carb version. Generaly the protien will not turn into fat due to your body taking it in to repair from everyday things. It is reported that over 90% of Americans do not get the essential ammount of protien per day to help in the repair of your muscle. Some dont look at the fact that just getting out of bed and walking her and there causes muscle fatigue and hence, protien to aid in recovery.
No! Do not take Muscle Milk if you are not planning to work out at least 3 times a week.

Yes and no. If you worked out the day before it will rebuild the muscles that were torn and used the day before in that case it will build muscle. (In a technical sense) But you can not just gain muscle be drinking protein alone. You will just end up fat.

It’s just a drink with vitamins and protein. Yes, you can drink it even if you don’t workout. But keep in mind that if you don’t workout, you only need 80 or 90 grams of protein a day.
muscle milk is a high-protein drink. yes, you can drink it even if you dont workout all the time. it can be used as a snack or meal replacement, but, is too high in calories to be consumed as your beverage all of the time & is not meant to be consumed as your typical bev. w/ meals.
