What is Speeddate messenger?

People keep telling me to add them on speeddate messenger and ask for my username. However, the usernames they give me are different than the ones on regular speeddate, so I guess this ‘messenger’ is different from the chat feature on speeddate.com??

Yes, Yahoo! Messenger is a different Chat Client. I googled the speeddate.comI believe you are referring to SpeedDate IM alerts.
