What is the cram school like in country where you live?

Hello, I am a Japanese high school student. I apologize for my English; I am still learning. I would like to ask for your insights on a topic that has been on my mind. As the university entrance exams approach, I have noticed that some students who attend cram schools tend to be absent from their regular high school classes. They often believe that the cram school provides a superior education compared to their high school. However, I do not share this view. I believe there are many important lessons and experiences that cannot be gained solely from attending a cram school. In Japan, attending cram schools is quite popular among students. I am curious about the situation in your country. Are cram schools also popular there? If you don’t mind, I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Megumi,

In America we dont have cram schools. Cram schools are mostly only in Japan.

In America we dont really have entrance tests. Its easy to enter a University in America but its hard to graduate. American High schools are easy, University is very hard. Its the opposite in Japan.

From the cons you indexed it feels like residing in hell particularly for women. And that paragraph relating to the entire society speaks as one (it isn’t any freedom of speech) and people who stand on my own are sore thumbs. Wow that feels like hell on the earth. God Bless the united statesA!!!!
