What is the definition of “Incorrigival”?

Word is used in Toni Morrison’s “The Bluest Eye” on page 67. “Mrs. Foster said he was incorrigival.” I think it might be a play on words for “Incorrigible” because poor uneducated children say it in the novel, but I’m not sure.
