what is the meaning of asalamalakim and WA-SU-ZO-TEAN-O?
What is the meaning of "As-salamu alaykum" and "Wa-su-zo-tean-o"?

The first word, as the others have written is Muslim for "peace be with you," a standard greeting very similar to the Jewish "shalom aleichem." In both cases the person being greeted repeats the words in reverse order.
The second word or phrase is from the Lugandan language of Uganda, Africa and is another (more complicated) form of greeting someone, specifically in the morning. The first, Arabic phrase can be used any time of day.
Both terms are found in the Alice Walker story, "Everyday Use." The daughter, Dee, who wants to hang tight to her African heritage, greets her mother with the Lugandan greeting. But her mother has no use for heritage and adopts a modern, Muslim affect, thus the other, contrasting greeting.

As others have said "as-salam alaykum" is an Arabic greeting and means «peace be with you».
"Wa-su-zo-Tean-o?", "Wasuze otya nno?" or "Wasiz'otya nyabo?" is a phrase in Luganda (a major language of Uganda) showing how the Buganda people of Uganda say «Good Morning». It can be translated as something like "I hope you have slept well".

The first one (Asalamalaikom) means hello, or peace be upon you, in arabic. You can shorten it up to Salam, if you know the people around you, but its usually polite to stick with the full word.
the first is an arabic greeting. alsalam = peace. alaikom= upon you.
