What is Zuka in Japanese Culture?
I've heard about "Zuka" in the context of Japanese culture from shows like Ouran High School Host Club, where the Zuka club made an appearance, and in Lucky Star during the Culture Festival, where one of the classes hosted a Zuka café. Can someone explain what Zuka is and whether it relates to crossdressing?

Quotation from the Wiki:
"The Zuka Club in Ouran High School Host Club is based on the Takarazuka Revue. Haruka Tenoh and Michiru Kaioh of Sailor Moon were loosely based on the actors of the Takarazuka Revue."
Takarazuka Revue is a all-female group who plays both male and female roles in theater.
I hope this explains everything. For more info the link below.... Show More
