Viruses are the border of living and non living things. They take over the cells of other organisms. They don't exhibit and processes such as reproduction, respiration, or excretion outside their host cells. The only thing that they possess because of which they are classified as living things is the DNA or RNA(present inside a protein coat, as Viruses are NOT cells).

Bacteria are prokaryotes, which means that they are cells without a defined nucleus. Lacking a nuclear envelop results in the presence of their genetic data being located in their cytoplasm. Most bacteria also have a fully permeable(porous) cell wall outside the partially permeable membrane that covers the cytoplasm. Most bacteria are nonmotile, which means they can't move, but some have a tail called a flagellum which helps them swim. Bacteria need food and oxygen to respire, but some can also respire anaerobically, that is, without oxygen.

Also, bacteria can be killed by Antibiotics, while Viruses can only be killed by the antibodies produced by the lymphocites(White Blood Cells) of the body. Sometimes physicians prescribe antibiotics when one has a viral infection. This is not to kill the viruses, but only to kill the bacteria that might attack the body while it is vulnerable because of being under attack by viruses.

Viruses are not made out of cells

Viruses are typically some DNA or RNA encased in a protein shell, sometimes with some lipis layers. They are unable to copy themselves like a cell, so are not alive. They are more akin to a very complex toxin than a lifeform.

Pathogenic bacteria cause disease

Bacteria are found everywhere

Bacteria need to eat almost constantly to remain alive

But... bacteria are made out of cells
