What’s the difference between H2, H3, H4 treated pine?
What are the key differences between H2, H3, and H4 treated pine lumber? Specifically, I'm interested in understanding how the treatment levels affect their durability, suitable applications, and any environmental considerations.

Tanalising is for prevention against insect attack and wood decay.
H2 is for indoor use.
H3 is for exterior timber cladding and facia boards. The standard requires the timber to be coated with an exterior water-repellant sealant.
H4 is for exterior deck support poles (H5 if fresh water contact).
H5 is for fence posts (if fresh water contact).
follow the link below.
The difference between the H2 and the H3 is not the point. The point is that they both waste too much gas. How would you pay for gas when an H3 and the H2 give you 9 miles per gallon. That means it either has a HUGE gas tank (over 40 gallons) or it has a small gas tank but you have to fill up every 3-4 blocks. Good luck with Hummer! hope u have a fat bank account!
