what’s the X intercept of y = 7x – 3?

I need to find the x-intercept of y = 7x – 3I already know the y-intercept is -3, but I can’t figure out what x is.Help is greatly appreciated.

For finding x intercepts , y = 0 ==> 7x + y + 3= y 7x + 3 = 0 x = -3/7 x intercepts : (-3/7 , 0) For finding y intercepts , x = 0 ==> 7x + y + 3 = y 0 + y + 3 = y It’s not available. It means this equation never intercept y-axis.... Show More

all you have to do is substitute the y with 0 so, ur equation would look like this0=7x – 3u add 3 to both sides 7x = 3then u divide by 7 on both sides so thatx= 3/7... Show More
