where do you get bay leaves?

Are fresh bay leaves found in the produce section at the grocery store? And where are dried ones?

dry should be in the spice section, fresh you could get from a good vegie grocer. grow your own bay tree, they are decorative as well as handy to give to friends... Show More

Ive never seen fresh bay leaves either maybe an asian grocer might sell them fresh. Dry bay leaves are quite easily found in the spice section of your local supermarket they come in a packet of 20 or so. quite cheap.... Show More
The dried ones are in a jar in the spice aisle. Fresh ones are a bit trickier to find. Go to the biggest yuppie store you have. They're packaged up in the produce section in plastic containers along with pre-packaged basil, oregano, chives, etc...If you find the fresh ones, you won't want to go back to dried!... Show More
