Earthquake releases phosphorus.Explanation:Phosphorus cycle is a biogeochemical cycle that show how phosphorus move in the environment.Phosphorus is first released in the phosphorus through weathering of rocks and Earthquake. Rock is the major source of phosphorus. Phosphorus moved to the soil through water. The plants absorbed phosphorus in the soil and use it for growth.Animals consume plants and obtain phosphorus from them. When plants and animals die, decomposition occur by the activities of bacteria which release it to the environment.

Human use of fertilizers releases phosphorus into ground water.Explanation:This method is an artificial way of phosphorus entering the phosphorus cycle.Phosphorus cycle involves the washing down of phosphorus from weathered rocks then plants absorba it and it later decomposes, and it continues to repeat the process. So also, the use od some certain chemicals and fertilisers like NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) is a man made method of phosphorus entering the cycle.

Phosphorus moves in a cycle through rocks, water, soil and sediments and organisms. Over time, rain and weathering cause rocks to release phosphate ions and other minerals. This inorganic phosphate is then distributed in soils and water. Plants take up inorganic phosphate from the soil.
The following choices are provided;Earthquakes release phosphorus.Phosphorus is carried in the rain that was evaporated from lakes.Human use of fertilizers releases phosphorus into the groundwater.Phosphorus is transpired. The answer is; Earthquakes release phosphorusPhosphorus is usually made less available to plants and to the rest of the ecosystem through runoffs. The washed-off phosphorus is deposited at the oceans- and seabeds with sediments. This phosphorus is made available again due to tectonic plate movements. Tectonic movements may cause earthquakes that expose these sediments to the earth’s surface. This uncovers the sedimentary rocks to agents of weathering and hence the elements are more available to living organisms on the surface.
The most common form of entry of the phosphorus is by human use of the fertilizers which is released into the groundwater. Most of the fertilizers being used in agriculture contains nitrogen and phosphorus which is carried to the aquatic ecosystem through surface runoff. When the tropical rainforest are cut down by humans and fertilizers are being used in large amounts the nutrients stored in plants or rocks are washed by the heavy rains and they reach groundwater or other water bodies. Therefore, the humans alter the natural phosphorus cycle majorly in several mentioned ways.

The phosphorus cycle refers to a biogeochemical cycle, which illustrates the movement of phosphorus via the hydrosphere, lithosphere, and the biosphere. Unlike various other biogeochemical cycles, the atmosphere does not play a substantial function in the movement of phosphorus.Phosphorus primarily comes from the rock and soil on the Earth and is recycled by the living species.
