What is one advantage that crops can achieve through genetic engineering? Options include: modifying pest resistance, surviving drought conditions, growing organically, or extending their maturation period.

In most case it is altered by incorporating a part of other organism DNA with the help of plasmid which carry gene from one organism to another.Genetically modified crops are modified for better health benefits, crop resistant, drought resistance property which enable plants to survive under extreme conditions.Example of genetically modified crops: Biofortified soya beans, golden rice
