 Lets find the electronegativity difference between the bonded atoms;C-H = 2.6-2.2 = 0.4C-F = 4.0-2.6  = 1.4 F-F = 4.0-4.0   = 0H-O = 3.4-2.2  = 1.2Here the electronegativity difference is highest for C-F bond hence C-F bond is most polar.

Based on electronegativities H-F bond is most polar and H-H bond is less polar.Explanation: Electronegativity  can defined as the ability of an atom to attract the bonding electron pair towards itself. This result in the generation of polarity.            H-F bond most polar because Fluorine is most electronegative among nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen.        On the other hand H-H bond is least polar or nonpolar because the boding electron pair are equally shared by the two hydrogen atoms.

C―O is more polar. Explanation: Based on electronegativity values, C―O bond is the most polar one in the above options. Polarity of substance is depend on difference of electronegativity values between bonded atoms. Those atoms having high difference of electronegativity values are more polar as compared to those having less difference of electronegativity values. Electronegativity value of C―O bond is 0.89.

H-Cl is more polar than other because of greater electronegativity difference between chlorine and hydrogen.Explanation:Covalent bond:It is formed by the sharing of electron pair between bonded atoms.  The atom with larger electronegativity attract the electron pair more towards it self and becomes partial negative while the other atom becomes partial positive. For example:In water the electronegativity of oxygen is 3.44 and hydrogen is 2.2. That's why electron pair attracted more towards oxygen, thus oxygen becomes partial negative and hydrogen becomes partial negative and polar covalent bond is formed.when the electronegativity difference is above the 0.4 polar covalent bond is formed. While if it is 0.4 or less than 0.4 non polar covalent bond is formed.H-Cl3.16 - 2.2 =0.96H- Br2.96 - 2.2 = 0.76H-S2.58 - 2.2 = 0.38H-C2.55 - 2.2 = 0.35F-F3.98-3.98 = 0H-Cl is more polar than other because of greater electronegativity difference between chlorine and hydrogen.
O-H bond is referred to as the most polar.Explanation:O-H bond is said to be most polar because the electronegativity is different. Electronegativity can be said as the atom's ability to attract electrons towards itself. Electronegativity of an atom increases when there is a movement on the periodic table from left to right. When the electronegativity between the atoms are different then it is said to be a polar bond on the other case if the electronegativity between the atoms are same it is said to be non- polar bonds.

The answer is hcl because chlorine is more electronegative as compared to bromine which makes it the most polar in nature.

The answer will be (4) HI because the greater the difference of the bonds in electronegativity, the more polar a bond is.
The best choices are, A.)If the difference is between 0.4 and 1.7, it is polar covalent.B.)If the difference is greater than 1.7, it is mostly ionic. D.) If the difference is less than 0.4, it is mostly covalent.

The electronegativity difference between two atoms gives the type of bond that forms. If the difference is greater than 1.7, the bond is ionic. If the difference is between 0.4 and 1.7, the bond is polar covalent. If the difference is less than 0.4, the bond is nonpolar covalent.
