Which parts of this passage from beowulf indicate that the poem is about war and glory?

Which parts of this passage from Beowulf indicate that the poem is about war and glory? "Lo! The glory of the Spear-Danes, through splendid achievements, the former fame of the folk-kings, we have heard of how princes displayed their prowess in battle. Oft Scyld Scefing, from scathers in numbers, tore their mead-benches from many a people. Since first he found himself friendless and wretched, the earl had experienced terror; comfort he gained for it, waxed beneath the welkin, and world-honor was acquired, until all his neighbors across the sea were compelled to bow to his bidding and bring him their tribute: an excellent atheling! Afterward, a son and heir was born to him, young in his dwelling, whom God sent to solace the people. He had marked the misery that malice had caused them."
