well you can come up with a ratio. so if he’s earning $15 an hour, you can say it’s 15:1.
Times that 15 by 13.3 to at least get 200, and do it to the other side of the ratio as well. so you’ll get 199.95:13.3, meaning the painter would have to work at least 13.3 hours to get $200
$200 (1hr/$15) the dollars cancel leaving hrs
(200/15) hr= 13.33 hr
Most problems like this can be solved simply by canceling units.
