letter b is the answer.. because the weight of the object is approx. 627.20kg multiplied by 9.8(acceleration due to gravity) so the product is the force..

Im particular you comprehend that F = ma thus, a = g = 9.8 m/s^2 all we make sure is the mass of the article in kilograms we've the quantity and the density, thats all we make sure mass = quantity * density mass = .08 m3 * 7840 kg/m3 = 627.2 kg F = 627.2 kg * 9.8 m/s^2 F = 6146.fifty six newtons appears like plenty

no matter where the steel is (horizontally), the force of gravity acting on the steel is constant.

Acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s2. (depends on how far you are from the core of the earth)

Mass of 0.08m3 steel = 7840 X 0.08 = 627.2kg

Force, F=ma. Therefore,

F= 627.2 X 9.8 = 6146.56, close to answer B
