the answer for edge is c or the third option CAAGGUCUC i hope this helps for e2020 users
Cytosine and Thymine are pyrimidines which are complementary to Guanine and Adenine which are purines. But in RNA, Uracil is complementary to Adenine... im pretty sure

If DNA strand has GTTCCAGAG sequence, all you have to do is write the complementary base pair Cytosine and Thymine are pyrimidines which are complementary to Guanine and Adenine which are prunes. But in RNA, Uracil is complementary to Adenine. The question is DNA to RNA so instead of A=T, you would do A=U but if it's T then it would be A GTTCCAGAG = CAAGGUCUC CAAGGUCUC is the sequence for RNA

The answer is A as Adenine (A) pairs with Thymine (T) and Guanine (G) pairs with Cytosine (C)

#1) A DNA strand has the sequence GTTCCAGAG. Which is the complementary strand of RNA? In order for us to get the complementary strand of DNA to the sequence presented above we will simply have to remember that A pairs with T and G pairs with C. We now simply go through it replacing the letters using this rule. We will get the Following: CAAGGTCTC. But for this case it is different. We have to find from DNA to RNA, therefore we will use the rule of A pairs with U and T pairs with A. We get the following: CAAGGUCUC. The correct choice is C).I hope it helps, Regards.

CAAGGUCUCExplanation:To solve this question, we must know the base-paring rules of DNA and RNA.Here is the following rule for a strand of DNA:Adenine bonds with thymine  Cytosine bonds with guanine Now, here is the following rule for a strand of RNA:Uracil bonds with AdenineCytosine bonds with guanineBy the way, the attachments that I provided are resources from my teacher on this topic! So now that we know the following rules, we can use these rules to find the complementary strand of RNA, and to do this, all we need to do is simply use the base-pairing rules to find the complementary nitrogenous base (adenine, guanine, cytosine, uracil) for RNA. → In conclusion, the complementary strand of RNA for the DNA molecule is CAAGGUCUC.
