Any verbs that start with the letter “X”, or “Y”?
I am looking for verbs that start with the letters "X" or "Y" for my homework. It would be great if they could be Halloween-themed, with a focus on the scarier options. Also, is "Xenon" considered a noun that fits under the letter "X"?

X is a difficult one, and you have both X and Xerox mentioned above there’s also X-ray. Xenon doesn’t do it, it’s a noun that doesn’t describe an action or process. Xanth, yellow, can be made a verb by adding -inate (to render something in the state of}. Y is easy, having many verbs from yack, yearn, yell, yaw, yawn, yap, yaup, yawp, yawl, yowl, yammer, yen, yank, [yes, yay, yeah, yep (these affirmatives given in answer)], yield, yodel, yeast [to froth or ferment, or add yeast to something like beer or bread], to yelp, yipe, yip, yerk. yuck, yuke, yoke, and in many dialects of English and obsolete uses y- was added to form the past participle of quite a number of verbs or as an alternate letter for I, J, G, or E. Fat on putrid bodies yellows with age, or xanthinates, so to speak, the guts might even yeast enough to make you yowl, seeing these things without x-raying them. The skin can yaw and make you yech, especially were it so yraft your stomach ypight. Hallowe’en is a good time to go out to the graveyard and dig up obsolete and archaic words! Yvel yfalltet ye yated yards! [ye is pronounced the, y replaces the thorn, an obsolete English letter.]
The letter “X” itself can be made into a verb according to the Merium-Webster dictionary:
: to cancel or obliterate with a series of x’s —usually used with out ” x-ed out the mistake “
