Are incoming police dispatch records available for public record?
I'm currently involved in a court case with my former employer and require police dispatch records to establish a timeline. Specifically, I need to determine whether my employer did not call the police or, if he did, the exact time of the call. I have gathered the necessary information, including the date, approximate time, phone number from which the call may have originated, the location of the business, and the name of the individual who made the call.
Could you please advise me on the timeframe I might expect to obtain these records? Tomorrow morning, I plan to contact the police records department to inquire whether I can access these records and then visit in person to hopefully retrieve them. Additionally, if there is any other information I should prepare or advice you could offer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much!

It depends on what state you live in. In Ky all recorded calls and transmissions are public records unless they are coming from a confidential informant. What state is this in and I will look more into it for you?

Been in the same situation and you can get a copy of the call log which tells you the time the call was placed. Contact the 911 Comm Center Supervisor they will tell you how to go about obtaining it.

They may not be able to give it to you. You may need to have the court subpoena the records with the info you have.
