BMW idle fluctuates when I turn on the AC?
I recently purchased a pre-owned BMW 3 Series, and I've noticed something unusual. Whenever I turn on the AC, the RPM drops to around 1, then fluctuates. Additionally, there is a noticeable noise coming from inside the vehicle when the AC is activated. When I turn off the AC, I also hear noise as it shuts off. This issue only occurs when the AC is on. In comparison, my previous BMW did not exhibit this behavior.
Could the cause be related to the belt, or perhaps a dirty fuel injector? I've done some reading on this topic, and I've encountered various theories. I mentioned this problem to the dealership, but they assured me that it is normal. However, I find it hard to believe since my other BMW never had this issue. Could anyone provide additional insights or advice on what might be happening? Thank you.
