Braces in high school are embarrassing?

Since my schools werid Im a freshmen in middle school and next year as a sophomore I go into the high school. And so I get my braces with rubber bands on next week but now even in 9th grade EVERYONE is already getting their braces off. So when I get to the high school would it be werid if I was like the only one with braces on? Ugh Im really self concious about this..

You might be embarrassed now, but once you get them off you’ll be so glad you got them in the first place. I’m sure other kids will have them in high school too. But when you get your braces off and your teeth are straight and pretty you’ll get lots of compliments! C:

I know seniors in high school, college students, and even 30-50 year olds that have braces!Trust me, you aren’t going to be the only one with braces, and you’re lucky to have braces at a young age like this.
