Bruise from a hickey on nipple!!?
I have a bruise on my nipple from a hickey, and I'm wondering if this is normal or if it could be dangerous. Should I be concerned about any potential complications?

Thats what a hickey is.. a bruise. Think about it, you suck on the skin when giving a hickey to someone, and that draws up the blood, making it red. In a couple of days, it starts to turn yellow, like a bruise. It will go away trust me.

Anytime you are get a hickey, anywhere on the body, the sucking action breaks blood vessels under the skin- this creates the bruise, but it is not dangerous (nor does it cause cancer).
a bruise and a hickey are the same thing. it's broken blood vessels. i breastfed my daughter for a year, i've had some damage done to my nipples in the past. it should be fine.
