“can’t wait to hear from you”?
I'm learning English and have a question today. I'd like to write a sentence that conveys that I am looking forward to speaking with you [the reader] on the phone. How can I express this? Does "Can't wait to hear from you" sound unnatural? I am concerned that this phrase might imply that I want to receive an email or letter, rather than indicating that we will be communicating by phone. In this case, what would you suggest? Perhaps "Can't wait to talk with you on the phone"?

Actually... I think that the expression "all things come to those who wait" is a load of bollocks. It would be more accurate to say that "some additional options may possibly present themselves over the course of time". In life, you always have the option to wait for better opportunities to present themselves... maybe they will, maybe they won't. Maybe you'll meet Megan Fox. There is a calculable odds figure attached to that, as well as to the likelihood that she will give 2 sh*ts about you. Don't worry about that, she is covered in rancid tattoos anyway... one of life's great tragedies...
" i can't wait to speak with you." or " i can't wait to talk with you".
These best express the idea of using voice, A.K.A. talking on the phone.

G Even clams, ans anemones must take action to feed. They may be rooted in one spot, but they must actively filter the water for food, or prey. Waiting sort of applies to unicellular plants, because they have no locomotion, but any animal form must actively pursue its wished for outcomes. This becomes ever more true, when the cognitive complexity increases.
