Did I get caught by a red light camera?
I was driving tonight and went through a traffic light while it was yellow. I believe I saw a white flash as I passed through. Is there any way to determine if I was caught by a red light camera before the ticket arrives? Does a white light indicate that a camera has captured a violation?

Once I had the same experience and fears as you have right now (the light was yellow officer ;-). Saw the white flash also. Here’s a website to help you find out if there actually was a red light camera at that particular intersection:

By the way, I did discover from this website that there was a traffic cam at my particular intersection, but never received a ticket. So even if you do find out that there was a cam, it’s still not a guaranteed ticket (apparently the picture has to also clearly show your face as the driver, maybe some get thrown out if not?). The white light is the camera’s flash. It may have been the car behind you or next to you, if you noticed one.
