The correct answer is C  electron cloud. Dalton said it was solid, Rutherford discovered nucleus and orbits like planets, Thompson had mass of negative material with positive "chips" in it

The correct answer is option C.Explanation:When fan starts the fan blades also starts spinning around axle.The axle represent the nucleus and the uniform donut like shape(with slightly fade color) formed by the movement of blades represents the electron cloud around the nucleus.Schrodinger proposed the quantum mechanical model of the atom in which he defined the location of electrons inside an atom by electron cloud in 3-d space (as shown in the figure).

I believe the correct answer from the choices listed above is option A. Fan blades would be an analogy for electron cloud model. Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger (1887-1961) developed an “Electron Cloud Model” in 1926. It consisted of a dense nucleus surrounded by a cloud of electrons. Hope this helps.
