Caps in parallel: Ct = C1 + C2 + C3....Caps in series: 1/Ct = 1/C1 + 1/C2 + 1/C3... On the left side, 5.0 uF in series with 3.5 uF:1/Ct = 1/5 + 1/3.51/Ct = 0.4857Ct = 2.059 uFRight side we have 15 uF in parallel with 0.75 uF Ct = 15 + 0.75 = 15.75 uFThat is in series with 1.5 uF15.75 in series with 1.5 = 1.370 uFWe also have that big 8.0 uF in the middle which is in parallel with both of the above.
