Have you ever been on the recieving end of a lexan paddle? What do you think of them>?

I hear they are much better than wooden paddles especially if they have holes.

Hmmm. Much lighter than wood, unless you have a springy laminate board. Holes in any paddle allow air trapped between the board and skin to escape, resulting in a much more intimate meeting of paddle and flesh. The main weight of a lexan paddle would be concentrated in the handle, allowing for a much faster wrist "snap" in delivery, and probably would require less strength to produce the same effect. I think the main difference would be in ease of production, and the modern, clean lines of lexan as opposed to the natural irregularities of wood.... Show More
