How do you say “I am L” in japanese?
How do you say "I am L" in Japanese? For example, if "L" represents a name or a letter, how would one express this phrase correctly in Japanese?

Eh-ru des.
Phonetically, that is. The above poster’s “watashi wa…” answer is grammatically correct, but native Japanese speakers often leave out the subject (“I am”) of their sentences. Also, the character is a little gruff in his speech, so he is even more likely to introduce himself this way.
There is no “L” in Japanese. They will not say “elle” like we do here, but put an “r” sound into it. Hence “Eh-ru”. The “des” is just the sentence ending. It is not “dez” like you say in the first part of the word desert, but “dess” with a kind of hissy “s” sound.
If you want to get really fancy, you can say “Eh-ru des. Ha-ji-me-ma-show.” Which is “I’m L. Nice to meet you.”
Watashi wa L desu.
I’m not sure about the L though. The japanese version might have a different name for him, but I think this is right. ^_^
Boku wa L desu
åãLã§ãã
Boku is I (only used by male), so if you’re female or, if you’re just plain lazy, you can use:
Watashi wa L desu
ç§ãLã§ãã
Either one work.
