Unicode supplies the Devangari Om ( http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/0950/... ), the Gujarati Om ( http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/0ad0/... ), and the Tibetan Syllable Om ( http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/0f00/... ). How you type them depends first on your operating system, whether it is Microsoft Windows, or Macintosh, or Linux, or something else.First, you need Unicode fonts that have the character or characters. If you can see ॐ, ૐ, and ༀ then you are fine there. Otherwise use the web pages that I referenced to get appropriate fonts. See http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/fontsbyrange.html to find fonts for Devangari, Gujarati, and Tibetan.As to typing these, operating systems come with various virtual keyboards you can install to type characters in various languages. For example, in Windows, in some editions, you can find these extra keyboards by looking in the Control Panel under “Regional and Language Options''. These extra keyboards can be installed and you can assign a special key code that switches among them. That is, if you are typing in English and wish to type the Devangari Om character, you would type the code that switches the keyboard to Devangari, press the key stroke for the Om character, and then set the keyboard back to English. Note that for Windows Vista and above you will have to purchase either the Enterprise or Ultimate editions for this to work. For the Macintosh, you may wish to install the appropriate language kits.
