How to send an anonymous gift of money for someone having a hard holiday season?

My cousin is having a hard time paying her bills this holiday season and I wanted to send her some cash without her knowing it came from me so she can buy some gifts for her 1 year old son. I was thinking of mailing it to her in a Christmas card or with a letter. I want to put a poem or saying in it and am having a hard time finding one. Do you know any god holiday poems that would fit well with this? Or an even more creative way of doing this? Or anything I else I could send her with the money? Happy Holidays!

You are such a sweet! I found a site with a lot of good Christmas poems: http://www.quotegarden.com/christmas.htmlOne of my favorites from it, that can apply to your situation: “Christmas is not as much about opening our presents as opening our hearts.” ~Janice MaeditereMaybe send her some giftcards to places like Cub or Super America/Holiday or Target. That can take care of some necessities and give her a little lee-way to pay off other bills. One for Target so she can purchase something for her son.Happy Holidays!... Show More
I think you should first ask yourself why you want to be anonymous. Then you can decide how secretive you need to be. Do you need to send your card from a different city because of the postmark? Do you need your friend to write the card so your cousin can’t recognize your handwriting? Maybe you are assuming she wouldn’t like extra love and support during the holidays. Ask her if she would like to go on an outing with you to Target or the grocery store. And then just tell her its your treat. You could have fun together and she wouldn’t see it as charity, just love. Have a nice holiday season.... Show More
What I would do if I Really wanted to be Anonymous… Just buy a really nice card and buy a gift card to a department store or maybe 2 cards one to a supermarket and one to a toy store.. etc.. You shouldnt send cash as it could get lost.sign the card Santa or Christmas Angel or something like that and mail it to her 🙂Thats a really sweet idea. Your cousin is lucky you care so much about her!... Show More
How about giving it in a Christmas card and saying “Happy early Christmas“, signed Santa? I think this is so sweet, and I applaud you for being generous, and remembering what the holiday is all about : )... Show More
Get her a gift card (don’t send cash in the mail). You could have someone you know sign a card (so she doesn’tknow its you) and then sign it “Santa Claus” or something like that. I really like the “from your Christmas Angel”.... Show More
Send an envelope with cash and a note that says something like “I know that you are going through some tough times right now, and I want you to know that you are not alone.” (signed) Your friend.... Show More
That is so Sweet of you.I was going to do the same for my ant.So she can get girts for her grand children and her own kids and there partners.... Show More
