How many 1/2 cups make up 2/3 cups?
I'm making cupcakes and need to measure out 2/3 cup of milk. How many 1/2 cup measurements will I need to reach that amount?

1/3 cup is 5 tablespoons plus one teaspoon. If you have measuring spoons, you can do it that way.
Or fill the 1/2 cup measure till it’s 2/3 full. That will be 1/3 cup.
Or do 1/4 cup plus one tablespoon plus one teaspoon.
Well, if you don’t have a 1/3 cup measuring up, which is pretty standard, you can eyeball it.
Half is 0.5. 2/3 is 0.67. So 2/3 cup would be one half cup plus about 1/6 of a cup or about 3 tablespoons.
Just put in half a cup of milk, and then fill up the 1/2 cup measuring cup about a third of the way. That will be close enough to get the job done.
