please tell mme i cant save the pokemon fire red because it cant save when i beat the elite four and gary then hall of fame thanks for the save in the file in the vba pls someone tell me its saids saving "please don't turn off gameboy" "save error" please exchange the backup memory

BEST WAYfirst change options/emulator/save type to flash 128k second CONTROL R to restart game. u lose progress, but this is the ONLY way to do it. otherwise u cant even get the NATIONAL DEX and stuff.

If you have the "In Game" option to save the game then you'll be fine but you can also save your progress by using the VBA save. To do this goto file > Save Game and choose a slot. When you're back at the game just goto Load Game instead of Save Game. If you just want it to be automatically loaded you can also tick "Auto load most recent" in the "load Game" tab

try changing the save type in the options to flash/flash 128k.
