How would you pronounce the name Stefan?
I would like to know how to pronounce the name of the LMFAO member, Stefan. Is his name pronounced as "Steven," "Stef-on," or "Stef-in"? If anyone has insight into the correct pronunciation, I would greatly appreciate your help!

I know 2 men w. this name, and they both pronounce it ‘stehf-ON”.I would think Steven is ‘STEE-ven’, as I know quite a few people w. this name and they all pronounce it thus.

It’s pronounced ste-FON. The name Stefan is a Slavic form of Stephen. In some countries, it’s pronounced STEF-in, but the LMFAO member pronounces his own name as ste-FON.

I would pronounce it Stef-on. On Vampire Diaries they pronounce it Stef-in, but it’s not Steven at all.
STEF-‘n. The vowel at the end is neutral, it doesn’t sound like -on or -in or -an or anything. HOWEVER, that’s just my usual pronunciation, and the most common one where I live. There is another pronunciation, which is st’f-AHN. The vowel at the end makes a long AAAH sound, like in the word car, or armadillo. And in this pronunciation, the vowel at the START is neutral. I’ve met two Stefans, one with each pronunciation.
Stef-in & Stef-on are both correct, depending on where you’re from.
Stephen is pron: Steven
Stephan is also pron: stef-in

This name is NOT a Steve for sh-yer! They are Steff-ins. The name most mistake “Steff-in” for is STEPHEN. This is pronounced STEE-Ven because it is a gender proper masculine address. The first E is long to denote masculinity and the PH,s pronunciation reflects the same type of F in the word OF. Stephanie is Ste-Fuh-nee because it Feminine.
