in chapter 1 or on chapter 1?

Which phrase is correct: "I am still in chapter 1" or "I am still on chapter 1"? Is there a more appropriate way to express this?

I think you could say both but ive heard everyone say im am still on instead of in : )

1.I am still on chapter one

2.I am still on the first chapter

3. I am still reading chapter one

4.I am still reading the first chapter

I am still on chapter one.

However, if you were writing a report on a book, you would use “in chapter 1…”.

“I am still on chapter 1” is the correct way to say it.

Is it “the Chapter 1” or “Chapter 1”? For example “in the Chapter 1 we explained…”
