Invalid AIM server address…HELP!?
I have been experiencing an "Invalid AIM server address" error ever since I restarted my computer this morning. I would greatly appreciate any solutions you can offer! I have already tried the auto-configuration feature, but it indicated that it was unable to connect. The Express option isn't working either.
When I attempt to access the aim.com website, the page fails to load. However, I am connected to the internet, as my MSN Messenger is functioning properly. I also attempted to use Meebo and another site called Penguin, but neither worked. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the AIM software, but that did not resolve the issue.
I've spoken to others in my area, and they say that they are not experiencing any problems with the internet or their own AIM accounts. I am using a campus connection, so we are all on the same network.
Additionally, it seems related, but Facebook, YouTube, and a few other sites also won't load. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with manually configuring settings in AIM. I urgently need assistance. Thank you!
